Hi, everyone. The Merrickville Emergency Food Cupboard has updated their list of needs - see below. Please drop off at Healthily Ever After between 10 and 5 Tue...sday to Saturday, and 10 - 4 on Sunday. We are expecting that the needs will rise significantly in the coming weeks. [NOTE UPDATED STORE HOURS] They are going to get me specific numbers, but I can tell you that the financial donations have also been very generous, and they were able to purchase at least $2,000 in food vouchers for families in our area from the Merrickville Food Market, which is a win all the way around for our community. We will be again needing some drivers to drop off food - likely next week, and pretty regularly after that. Hang tight while we work on a way for people to sign up for a time/day. If you would like to make a financial donation, send an e-transfer to [email protected] - at the Rideau Community Health Centre - indicating "Client Needs Fund". If you or someone you know needs to access the Food Cupboard, please contact [email protected] or call 613-269-3400.
