Great news today: Thanks to the furbearers organization based out of B.C. https://thefurbearers.com/ that have sponsored a full-paid tuition for an Eco-Kare employee to take the online beaver management training program provided by the Beaver Institute! Eco-Kare is interested in these skills as a result of keeping drainage culverts permeable so turtles and other aquatic animals can move under roads safely!

Eco-Kare has launched a new Youtube channel that will be devoted to videos highlighting recent and upcoming work.. Our first presentation is a synopsis of our ongoing beaver and turtle road ecology work on Highway 7 that was presented at the inaugural BeaverCon in Maryland in March 2020 (https://www.beavercon.org/). We will keep all videos to a maximum of 15 minutes. Enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oG24AzX3Hhw
