Eco-West Canada is happy to announce this morning, with Terry Duguid, on behalf of Seamus O'Regan, an investment of $155,000 from Natural Resources Canada for the installation of 31 Level 2 chargers for electric vehicles in the City of Winnipeg and several rural municipalities in southern Manitoba. Eco-West is excited to be conducting a stakeholder consultation tomorrow in Somerset, Manitoba! In no other time would we be saying how happy we are to have filled a room to 10% capacity, but these are the days we live in. The RM of Lorne will be hosting the consultation tomorrow where Eco-West Canada, along with CanSustain, Nativus and other organisations will hammer out a clear direction for the RM for the future, to take advantage of the tremendous opportunities in sustainably developing rural municipalities.

Hello everyone everywhere, how have you been? In this trying time we, like you, have been working to adapt to this new environment. Family and caution has taken precedence as our communities have shut down as much as possible to allow us, as a community, to minimize the impacts of this pandemic. While we appear to have been successful, this is a marathon not a sprint. We’re still all working from home, we’re still juggling childcare and work, and we’re still all desperat...ely, desperately in need of professional grooming. Eco-West Canada is, safely, cautiously, re-launching operations. We’re going to try to be more communicative in the coming weeks and months, and we hope what we share helps energize you like it energizes us. She is an Environmental Professional, certified through the Canadian Environmental Certification Approvals Board and is a trained EMS Lead Auditor. Ms. Ostermann has a Bachelor of Science in environmental toxicology and a Master of Environment focusing on the use of existing, well-functioning management systems to enhance corporate sustainability performance. Notre projet Initiative Entreprise-Climat débutera le 3 mars au Kerry Vickar Centre de Melfort, en Saskatchewan. La région autour de Melfort a longtemps été soutenue par certaines des meilleures terres agricoles de l'ouest du Canada et de ces racines s'est développée une grappe manufacturière qui fait l'envie de la province. La ville est stratégiquement située à l'intersection des autoroutes 3, 6 et 41 et constitue le principal centre de vente au détail et de services du nord-est de la Saskatchewan. Eco-Ouest Canada est fier de présenter son programme Initiative entreprise-Climat à Melfort. Plus de détails à venir très bientôt!
