This summer we painted the historic Victorian era farmhouse on our property. Built in the 1880's, the "white house" just received a much needed coat of paint to keep it looking as beautiful as the 11 pear trees (of the same age) that surround it. With the amount of peeling paint that needed to be removed as well as the actual painting, this made for a lengthy project.

Our new sign is ready to hang! So now we have to pour footings and de-bark and finish the cedar posts we got to hang it on. The solar-powered sign lights arrived today!

The University of Victoria presented us with the opportunity to salvage two greenhouses from their campus that were set to be torn down. We spent the entire month of August dismantling them and bringing them back to the farm. Now for the hard part- putting them back up!
