The seed list is here! I have attached it as a jpeg, as well as including a link to it on the Ecovale Farm webpage, just in case. I am excited to announce that, for the first time, we will be offering seeds for sale! I am working on the (likely 1-page) catalogue, which I will post over this weekend. All seed collected on the property.

Time to start saving milk bags! They are great for starting seeds, and this way they get re-used at least once. Cut across the top, poke some holes in the bottom, then fold or scrunch up to fill with soil. As seedlings grow taller, lengthen the bag a bit and add more soil; repeat as necessary.

Is anyone else getting tired of shovelling the path up the manure pile??

Some winter on the farm photos! For gauging snow depth, the top of the picnic table was cleared off yesterday, the haybale in the barn field was not. Brad has spent a good 3+ hours clearing the driveway and associated paths yesterday & today. Beautiful? yes. easy living? no. Would I trade it? Definitely not.
