10:07am, March 27th/2016 - Caitlyn Freire (The Stories We Tell) "Growing up in a small town kind of mentality isn't always easy. People always think that it'd be peaceful and nice, but in reality it's not that great. People know everything about everyone, you don't tell anyone anything you don't mind other knowing. Rumors were always fling from the time I was a kid, to the end of high school. Most of the time you couldn't even trust the people you called your friend. Being th...e smallest kid in class, and not always having the healthy weight was hard. I'm short, I have crooked teeth, and my weight fluctuated very often. People can be cruel. "Buck-tooth beaver", "fat", "ugly", "freak", "emo", I've heard it all. When I was younger I didn't really know how to handle all the abuse and by preteen I was mildly suicidal, I wanted to run away and escape it all. My parents found out and I started seeing the guidance councilor and sorted through. I lost a lot of weight, and started to change my attitude. When people started to pick on someone else, I spoke up and defended that person. Words can hurt a lot more then what many people believe they can. They have driven some to self harm and even suicide, it's disgusting. How many people have to get hurt or pass on before society says enough?! I got through it with help and became stronger from it, but I got lucky. Not everyone has the courage to speak up. If you see it, please, stop it from happening. You could change everything for that person." See more

1:30pm, March 29th, 2016 - Julian Kelly (The Stories We Tell) "Fingerboarding for me is skateboarding. Down to the deck, bearings, wheels, and forged truck, fingerboarding is skateboarding. Its just more fun for me because I can skate just about anything and do anything on a much smaller scale. Fingerboarding has been around for many years and Enrique and I have only been doing it for 3 years at least. I'm not the best at it, I just like doing it because it's fun. I picked it up before Enrique, but since he has gotten into it with me, we push each other to do new things and it makes me happy Its not childish if you're having fun!"
