Our 2 Dragons Classes graded on Sunday. They really are amazing young people. The learn so quickly. I’m sure their parents hear all of their new Japanese vocabulary every week. Hello East Coast Wado Family, Just a reminder that for the Little Dragons ONLY!!!! So the 11 o’clock and 12 o’clock classes only. This Sunday is the last day of the session. Good morning all, Please see new schedule effective Sunday the 27th. Due to provincial group restrictions , we have had to shuffle classes around so that we ALL can continue training. This will be a temporary fix until things change back., we hope. All regular procedures in effect, masks, shoes, sanitize at entrance and exit. With the new class sizes, we follow guidelines set by government. ... Great news East Coast Wado!!!! We have been cleared to start back to the Dojo this Sunday January the 10th. Classes will be as follows;... Sunday: 12 Noon - 1pm -Little Dragons -Kids Kyu class from White Belt to Orange Blck Stripe 1pm - 2pm -Senior Kids Kyu from Solid Orange to Purple 2pm-3:30 -Adults (All Ranks) Tuesday: 7pm - 8pm - All Kids Kyus from White to Purple 8pm - 9:30pm - Adults (All Ranks) Please remember all of the same rules apply. All students must wear masks, have a water bottle and sneakers. If they need to wear boots to the dojo, they must change into sneakers when there. Hands must be sanitized when entering and leaving. And any other time deemed necessary. There is no use of the washroom facilities. So please make sure your child has gone before arriving. The first week will be accepting paperwork online and through the door. For the second and Third Sunday there will be a Registrar taking payments at the door with attendance. It will just make it easier for us to track this way. So you must be paid with thin the first 2 weeks. Please see Princess if there are questions or issues on this front. Fees are as follows: Little Dragons - $60 for the Session Kids Kyus - $120 for the Session Adults -$135 for the Session. Please remember that for the January-March Session only there is an additional $40 fee for those students that are yellow/black stripe and up. This fee goes towards dues for Karate Nova Scotia, Karate Canada and WIKF Canada.. This is a once a year fee that gets added to your registration in January. Ask any questions that you might have!!! Hello East Coast Wado, Such an amazing day yesterday. A little cold, a little rainy and a little grey. But we had faces lit up at Princess’s house for belt presentations. People were right on time for their appointments. We stayed less than 5 people, masks on always and 10 minute appointments. We absolutely have the best students, parents and families. Sensei JF and I couldn’t have been more proud.... We are hoping clothes arrive in the next day or so. So people who got clothes. Keep an eye out for an email. JF and I will we on the move. East Coast Wado Family, It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce that a few hours ago the Club was officially shut down again by HRM. We will still be reaching out to get belts and certificates to those who graded. Sensei JF and I will also be working hard to grade those that missed, by Zoom.... So if you have graded, please remember to pay your fees for grading. We will wait 2 weeks and then I will also make a post for what we are doing for the Little Dragons as well. We will also be contacting each family individually when the clothing order arrives. Please know that the instructors will miss you all so much while we are temporarily down. Hello ECW Family, Good morning, Sorry for the short notice but we just received a memo from HRM this morning.... 1. Anyone that travelled to Moncton since Friday or outside the Atlantic bubble in the last 14 days can not come in the building. 2. Anyone waiting or in the same house waiting for Covid 19 results are not permitted in the building. 3. Any person that has been in the possible Covid places listed with department of health, can not be in the building. 4. No parents allowed in the building, some one will be at the front asking parents the Covid questions 5. We will continue to sanitize hands for everyone 6. You may do so at the dojo on Tuesday night between 6:45 and 7:15.... At 7:16 we will have to lock the door and will be teaching class and will not come to the door.
