Time for our next Spotlight interview! IntroducingWayne from Eastcoast Window Fashions & Decor! Wayne has been doing business in Porters Lake for twelve years!... He moved into his recent location a year and a half ago and hasnt looked back since. We definitely wanted to be here, Wayne says. Laughing, he adds, I dont actually live here but people think I do because Im here more than Im in my own area! While you might know Wayne best for his custom blind business, did you know that he also sells gifts? A lot of people dont realize that we have the gift business, Wayne says. I dont think a day goes by that someone doesnt walk in and go, I didnt realize you had all this stuff in here! For the customers that are aware, Wayne says its the variety of the gifts that keep them coming back. Things change in here all the time. We might have a picture one time but once its gone, its gone, he says. I do that on purpose because we get a lot of regulars coming in. If you dont see Wayne behind the counter at the store, its Dawn or Wilma who youll meet. Theyve been working with Wayne for over twenty years now! I trust them as if they own the store and they treat it as if its theirs, Wayne says. They know all the customers. They know everything! Speaking about his customers, Wayne says its their friendly nature that he enjoys. The community is really easy to work with. Ive been here a long time. I feel a part of the community.
