Dont forget tomorrow starts the new Facebook rule where they can use your photos. Don't forget the Deadline is today!!! It can be used in court cases in litigation against you. Everything you've ever posted becomes public from today - even messages that have been deleted. It costs nothing for a simple copy and paste, better safe than sorry. I do not give Facebook or any entities associated with Facebook permission to use my pictures, information, messages or posts, both past... and future. With this statement, I give notice to Facebook it is strictly forbidden to disclose, copy, distribute, or take any other action against me based on this profile and/or its contents including the personal information contained in my profile. The violation of privacy can be punished by law NOTE: Facebook is now a public entity. All members must post a note like this. If you prefer, you can copy and paste this version. If you do not publish a statement at least once it will be tacitly allowing the use of your photos, as well as the information contained in the profile status updates. DO NOT SHARE. Copy and paste. Their new algorithm chooses the same few people - about 25 - who will read your posts. Therefore: Hold your finger down anywhere in this post and "copy" will pop up. Click "copy". Then go to your page, start a new post and put your finger anywhere in the blank field. "Paste" will pop up and click paste This will bypass the system. I DO NOT GIVE FACEBOOK PERMISSION TO SHARE ANYTHING THAT I HAVE PUT ON THEIR SITE, INCLUDING: PICTURES, CURRENT OR PAST POSTS, PHONE NUMBERS OR EMAILS.. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING CAN BE USED IN ANY FORM WITHOUT MY WRITTEN PERMISSION

Well today was the day that my Mistress let me down. As a towing service we often post pictures of the vehicles we tow or recover but today I had to call for help myself. The Mistress blew out the seal between the top rad tank and rad core and dumped all her coolant. Had to call big brother in to deliver the customers truck I had in tow then come back and bring my baby home for me. Ill remember my first tow from the Burlington/ Middle Arm area lol! Special thanks to Ricky and Dicky for all your help on the road last night. You guys are true gentlemen and ambassadors for the trucking industry! Many thanks again! Off to remove a radiator. Stay safe!

We are on the scene of a trailer that has blown over due to extremely high winds in Flowers Cove on Rt 430. Our crew has been here several hours but due to the extreme winds we are unable to upright the unit until the wind subsides. We have moved the unit off to the side of the roadway to allow traffic to flow smoothly. But please use extra caution in the area. Our equipment and personnel are standing by at the scene and we will remove the unit as soon as weather conditions permit a safe recovery. Thanks to the motoring public in the area for your cooperation and understanding. We apologize for any inconvenience. Drive safe

Today we take time out of our busy lives to stop and remember those who have given given so much so that the rest of us have everything we have. Many gave all. Many returned but were never the same. To ALL the men and women and their families in all the forces, we Thank You for your services and your sacrifices. We will never forget

Well as anyone in the towing business knows, we get calls to help with all sorts of problems but we recently received a call that was even unusual for us. A tug boat had sunk at its berth at the wharf and due to restrictions with the wharf itself, a crane lift was not an option. The owners of the tug and dive team that responded to the incident asked us to take a look to see if we could help with the refloating process. They needed us to roll the vessel back to its vertical ...position and keep it stabilized while they pumped out the sea water and brought the vessel back to the surface. We used 2 of our 30 ton units with the assistance of a loaded off road dump truck and a 35 ton excavator for anchors. The process was slow and challenging at times. Very different dealing with an object that is changing its buoyancy with each gallon of water that is pumped out, than an object on solid ground. But we learned what we could and couldnt do with the tug. The diving crew from Baileys Marine Service were amazing with our underwater rigging. Special thanks to Shawn Boyd of Boyd & Bungay Construction for his equipment and his expertise with the pumping process. As well the crew from Tripp Marine and the Port of Stephenville who all gave 110% towards the successful recovery. If there was ever a job that said teamwork. This was it! Absolutely everyone involved gave it their very best and although there were those who doubted our efforts the team dug in, worked hard and showed that theres more than one way to raise a tug boat! Got back to the shop today and found my buddy and partner in crime, Tim doing some sandblasting so not one to turn down an opportunity. I asked him nicely and he graciously agreed to blast some of my axle forks and attachments! Thanks so much Tim! I really appreciate everything you do for me!

Its another Friday evening and it seems this was tandem truck week. We had a tandem beverage truck, a tandem tanker, a tandem roll off, a tandem box truck, a tandem flat bed, a tandem front load refuse unit, and ended the week with a tandem vac truck! Thank you to all our loyal customers for their continued support and thank you to a couple new clients that entrusted us with retrieving their disabled units this week.

Thanks to Shannon of Shannons signs for the great job on the reflective striping and all the lettering.

The first tow for the new truck (and her test run lol) on June 22 was to tow the old chassis to the Ritchie Brothers Auction yard. The Mack served us well but after 10 years it was time to update

Eddys Towing 08.03.2020

Now that we have the new truck all up and running I think its time to thank the people that helped make it happen. Clyde, Marvin,Todd and in fact all the guys at the Clyde Way Trucking shop. I cant thank you all enough for everything you did for me! Heres some photos of the transfer process lol.

Hi folks! Its been a while since weve posted anything because weve been making some more changes to try and improve our services to you. We opened a new office in Corner Brook in January to compliment our long time home base in Stephenville so we are now offering our heavy towing services from both locations. The new Corner Brook office gives us much faster response times for customers east and north while the Stephenville office is closer for our customers west and sout...h. A huge thank you to all our clients who have supported and entrusted us with their heavy towing needs over the past decades. A special thank you to those who have supported the new location and please take note that as our new profile picture depicts we have just completed the integration of a new and improved unit for the Corner Brook terminal to serve our customers even better! Thanks again to all! When you need a heavy tow..... the Eddy boys are the guys to call! See more
