Our friends at Green Thumbs Growing Kids are hosting this wonderful event Sunday. Building Roots and our team will be preparing our Edible Allan Gardens beds the day before. Come check everything out and meet some neighbours!

Yesterday was the most beautiful day to have a picnic in Allan Gardens, specifically in Edible Allan Gardens. Thanks for all who came to help us celebrate the start of Urban Agriculture week in Toronto. It's been our second year partnering with Toronto Urban Growers, Green Thumbs Growing Kids, FOAG, Ryerson University and the City of Toronto Parks Department to create Edible Allan Gardens. Thanks also to The Home Depot for their donation this year. If you have not yet been to see this urban agriculture garden please do so in the next couple of weeks.

Here are the participating community groups and their lovely containers. We are planning a community picnic next month so that we can share this beautiful space with you! Until then, feel free to stroll through the gardens.
