The Edict Legal Services continues to offer online sessions ( Review sessions ) of LSO materials. Spots are limited due to the nature of this exam.

The Edict Legal Services has helped more than 200 students to pass the P1 exam. In past, the exam was 240 multiple choice questions and it was a 7 hour exam. With #COVID19 pandemic, The Law Society has moved to online streaming exam in which students will write the exam at their own place. HOWEVER, I've received more than 70 emails in the last few weeks regarding pros and cons of this method. Having said that, I will mention few things in this post; 1) The online streaming ex...am is shorter in length and the number of questions. It's still a multiple choice exam. Since, online streaming is the only method offered by the Law Society until December 2020, prospective students who have been graduated recently and are fresh should consider to write the exam. 2) The Law Society has placed specific requirements regarding the location of your exam. Basically, a room that a P1 candidate pick to write his/her exam must meet certain eligibility requirements. READ THE LAW SOCIETY REQUIREMENTS CAREFULLY BEFORE REGISTERING FOR THE EXAM. 3) Some students have concerns regarding the nature of the exam. Basically, they have asked me whether they should put more emphasis on The Public Law or The Private law since the exam is shorter. The best answer to this question is: imagine that you are going to write the 7 hour exam and prepare for it thoroughly. Don't risk to chop the material. 4) Students with disability or other special needs, DO NOT HESITATE TO CONTACT THE LAW SOCIETY AND SEEK HELP FOR REGISTERING THE EXAM. DO NOT AFRAID, THE LAW SOCIETY WILL HELP EVERYONE. The main goal should be preparing for the exam. 5) The Edict Legal Services will continue to offer limited tutoring sessions, using technology as the only method of delivery.
