Whether on zoom or in the studio we are so lucky to dance with you. Great job EDF for showing up and working hard on Zoom this week! So proud of you! We are in this together. #whenlifegivesyoulemons #edfspirit #edfproud
Our faculty sat down last night to listen to an awesome presentation on Mental Health in Dance from the amazing @impactperformance Today’s reminder: Be kind to yourself.
Congrats to all of our dancers who participated in @1820danceconvention this past weekend! Also a big thank you to @wendid1820 and @karawoz for providing such a great experience for our dancers despite all of the challenges thrown at them! Special congrats to Zoe Gervais who took home an 1820 Apprenticeship Scholarship and Makena Micklich who took home a Born To Dance scholarship! Great work dancers! credit 1820 Dance Convention
In light of the announcement from the Government of Alberta yesterday, we surveyed over 90 dance studio owners across Alberta regarding their classes and COVID-19 transmission. This is what we found. We love what we do and we take the safety of our dancers, faculty, staff and their families seriously. We want dance to continue to be a safe outlet where children of all ages can get exercise and reap all the mental health benefits of dance. We thank all of our EDF families fo...r their help in keeping our studio a safe place for our dancers and hope we will all be back in our building together very soon! #dancesafeinalberta #danceisimportant #dancesafealberta
