We will be showing 5 screenings of "The Christ Child" video at 6:15 PM, 7 PM, 7:45 PM, 8:30 PM, and 9:15 PM on Saturday, Dec 5. We invite you to drive around the church building to view the beautiful ice sculpture, Christmas lights & decorations. We will be collecting donations for the Bissell Center of Edmonton. Donations of winter gear such as gloves, mitts, toques, warm socks, blankets and winter jackets will be gratefully accepted. Things to remember: - AHS guidelines will be strictly adhered to. - The audio will be provided through an FM channel. - All attendees are to remain in their vehicle at all times. - Please be patient with ushers as they direct you on where to park and as they manage those who attend. - We will arrange vehicles in the best way possible with smaller vehicles at the front and larger ones at the back. - Washrooms will not be available as the church building will be closed. #LightTheWorld *Please note this event has been approved by an AHS Public Health Inspector.

A special YSA Conference will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2020, at Noon (new time!), for all Young Single Adult aged (18 to 30), members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Edmonton area. This is for all members of the five YSA wards in the Edmonton area, plus any other singles in that age group that may be attending other congregations. The special conference will be presided over by Elder LeGrand R. Curtis, Jr., a General Authority of th...e Church. Elder David Stewart, an Area 70 of the Church, will also be in attendance. IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THIS YEAR’S FOOD DRIVE As you've been hearing, The Edmonton Food Drive is being done differently this year because of COVID 19. This would have been the tenth year that members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints collected food door to door for Edmonton's Food Bank and we hope to return to that format next year. This year, we will be helping to raise money donations for Edmonton's Food Bank instead. We... need your help getting the word out over your social media platforms. We have developed videos and other materials you can put up on your Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter feeds. For Facebook, watch our local Church communication page "Latter-day Saints of Edmonton" and share materials from there. (This page works year-round and always has various materials you might want to share.) Add your own comments as you share, and let your friends know you are encouraging them to contribute. Their will be several videos over the course of the campaign. Best choice would be to share them from the Latter-day Saints of Edmonton page.
