Cursillo Edmonton

Has Cursillo been a blessing in your life? You can ensure that experience continues for other Christians in our diocese by joining the small Secretariat that plans our activities. Please contact Lay Director [email protected] to express your interest by September 1. Only 6-7 meetings a year, and there's room for every talent, from number-crunching to community events to social media to general brainstorming - not to mention some fun fellowship with coffee and a cookie. If you value Cursillo, you have what it takes!

Everyone is invited to two upcoming events hosted by Edmonton Anglican Cursillo community. Let us know if you need a ride! A gathering at St Mary's Vegreville at 10 am Saturday May 25 will feature an illustrated talk about the experience of undertaking Spain's El Camino pilgrimage walk, along with our customary song, conversation and fellowship. There will be a light lunch for those who wish to stay afterwards. On June 8, we will host Bishop Jane Alexander at St George's De...von, 10 am to 2 pm, for another of her inspiring and illuminating presentations on our Christian walk in the world. A reminder - there is no Cursillo Ultreya in April. However - Please join the Anglican Cursillo Community for our monthly gathering - this time hosted by the generosity of St. Mary's Vegreville, Saturday May 25, from 10 am to 1 pm. These Ultreyas are usually held in Edmonton, but Secretariat has hopes of holding some in other parts of the diocese for the convenience of participants. The Saturday format will allow for a little extra time for inspiring Christian talks, music and prayer, as well as great fellowship and a potluck lunch. Everyone is welcome, whether involved in Cursillo or not. Plan to join us and see what it's all about - we will help arrange car pooling from your parish as required.
