We have received this email from Calgary Military Museum. If you have a military background and willing to participate, please contact Alisha directly. Continue regarding for more information. Thank you. Received email:... To Whom It May Concern, I am an intern reaching out from Calgary’s The Military Museums regarding a developing exhibition about Military Immigration. This exhibition will be profiling individual experiences of immigrants coming to Alberta that have served in the military in their countries of origin, and we would be interested in including stories from the Egyptian community. If this exhibition sounds interesting, The Military Museums will be setting up meetings in October to meet with a representative from your community group to discuss the project more at length. Specifically, to identify individuals that may have such military experience, record an oral history if possible, and compile any art or artifacts that trace the selected histories. Please let me know if you are willing or interested in participating in the exhibition in any way. Thank you for your time and support, Alisha Lester-Vanderheide The Military Museums. 4520 Crowchild Trail S.W Calgary, Alberta T2T 5J4
