Grads Stomp 23.11.2020

Hello Everyone, We are excited to be doing the selection for the 2019 spring season early this year to avoid issues and conflicts with other programs. Last year we had a remarkable Spring Summer Program, and are looking to build on the great successes. The 2019 season will see the team compete in 8 tournaments including 4 day Club Nationals in Langley B.C. We are looking for strong dynamic players for our teams who are looking to play at the highest level. This team will be c...omprised of players in grades 10, 11,and 12 as AYBC tournaments are going to be divided into High School division instead of U17. This gives the opportunity for grade 12 players to play before they move on to post secondary opportunities and to be seen by post secondary coaches. Our U15 AA team had Great success too last season and are looking for dynamic dedicated players to join us. The U115AA team will mirror the High School Girls program and costs. This age group is defined as grades 7-8-9 with no players in High School. The Grads is excited to offer exceptional programming to its players at cost effective rates. Through our fund raising efforts we are able to offer our families lower rates than other elite clubs in the area. The team player costs are $1300.00 for 2019 which include: Uniform (you keep) Warm up shirt and hoodie (or sweats players will decide one or the other) Hotels for 2 Calgary trips and 4 days and nights at Nationals League and tournament fees Transportation to Nationals 5 Tournaments in Edmonton 2 practices per week Fitness training with team trainer Dietary guidance and meal planning Players can lower their costs by selling raffle tickets to help lower costs. Grads believes in a no player left out philosophy if any player family cannot come up with the total cost of the season we can offer financial assistance. An email before selection will be required for financial assistance. Now that we have outlined the season for you, the dates for identification will be January 3rd and 4th from 1pm to 3pm at Dancereau Meadows School 5907 Rue Eaglemont Beaumont AB for High School U15 will be January 3rd and 4th from 10am to 12pm at Dancereau Meadows 5907 Rue Eaglemont Beaumont AB Please wear reversible jersey to the identification camp if you have one. Send your RSVP and questions to [email protected] with your Name, Grade, School, Phone Number Team selection for our High School(A) U15A and Rec teams will be in February Kind regards Gerald Bleau President EGYBA [email protected] www.gradsbasketball.ca Facebook Grads Stomp

Congrats to the Grads Stomp Reds for Winning the EYOB U15 Championship last night beating the SBA ELITE by a score of 54-41! The game was close until the second half when we pulled away by as much as 20 , the girls stuck to the game plan remained calm and collected throughout the game not letting the close score get to them. Our bench was strong with Balat Pal showing real growth coming in for her sister and helping us in a tough fought game. Our guards Caliegh, Kyla, and Add...y did a fantastic job moving the ball up the court with strong full court pressure. Our 3 position players Mikki and Kikki gave us strong ball possessions all game and incredible defense. Fivie showing heart and great positioning was flawless all game with calm collectiveness. The King despite being in foul trouble scored some key baskets to pull us away early in the 4th quarter to give us a insurmountable lead. Emily gave us great defense all game and the steady presence we needed. Hoppy and Erin closing out the game showed the growth we need for next season to be as successful as we were this season . The strength of character of all the girls is what makes this a team of the future. Thank you all ladies for an exciting season. And Ella being injured but showing that wouldn't stop her from motivating her teammates to the win. Be proud of yourselves Ladies Coach B

Grads Stomp Red went on a 5-0 run this weekend at the Rocky Mountain Hoops Tournament on the way to the Championship game. A truly hard fought game left them 1 point short of the win against the Grizzlies. Look out these ladies have come to play this season and the pieces are falling together nicely now and the rest of the season is going to produce amazing games by this squad of awesome girls.
