Please don't GO (Trail) here. We are still in the middle of spring break-up and riding trails in this condition ultimately creates deep ruts and heavy erosion. Thank you for your patience, we're getting a little closer everyday!

Wednesday ride in your plans? Consider reconsidering your route. Spring is springing and we're starting to encounter the muck and the pools. Rutting out the trails makes for a long, but not in the good way, dirt season for riders and volunteers.

The City of Edmonton and their contractors will be beginning bridge replacement projects in Millcreek Ravine South starting on March 17th and continuing in multiple phases over the summer. There will be signage posted near trail entrances, particularly on the double tracks. Possible trails affected are: Endor, Snoke, Papaschase, No Where Man, Straggler, Just Cuz, Red Leader, Party Line, Pemican Hollow, BFR What you can do - Look for signage and equipment in the area ...- if people are working there, avoid the area, - Abide by other signage and fences which may be present, and - Finally and most importantly, show respect for the people working in the area and their personal safety! If we all respect the work being done, we'll be back to kicking up dust in that area in no time!

Thank you for all your support in the past, our 2021 Trail Supporter passes are now available for order at www.edmmtnbike.ca and will ship in mid-late March! With everyone's help with volunteering time and donations last year we were able to host 58 trail days and repair about 41 km of our beloved single track! With the help of our adopt a trail groups, Wonder Woman also received a well needed re-route and extension.

Please also remember when crossing cross country ski trails to cross perpendicular, yield to skiers, and to not stop blocking their tracks.

We are all loaded up and raring to go! We have three (3!) open trail days going on in Terwillegar starting this Thursday! If you want to help give back, are interested in trying some of these awesome tools, or just generally wonder what we do - sign up! If need be, we will even train you in tasks such as how to properly apply mosquito repellent or how to use a rake! What a great week of trail building! Cranky's Bike Shop St. Albert Cranky's Bike Shop Edmonton Women’s Mountain Bike Club, Women on Wheels YEG , and SheShreds - Womens Mountain Biking teamed up to design and build a new section of trail near MacKinnon Ravine. We had 57 volunteers out between Monday and Friday to build a new section of Wonder Woman. Over 80% of our volunteers were women, with many gaining build experience for the first time. Thank you to everyone that came out... to help! It was a lot of hard work, but the new section is looking fantastic. The original Wonder Woman entrance has been reclaimed, so please do not try to use it. The trail has been lengthened and the new entrance is directly behind the Korean Pavillion near the old museum/Government House. https://goo.gl/maps/XdNGFgoJVU8GtnfU6 We are in the process of updating it on Trailforks, but if you’re at the Pavillion the entrance should be obvious. There are still some loose sections, so please ride with caution. And as always, respect the trails. If the trail surface is muddy and you are leaving a rut, don’t ride it! On Monday, July 27th, the city will be removing a dangerous fallen tree located on Flat Pete. Please avoid the area during normal working hours on Monday and Tuesday or be prepared to turn around if they are working on the tree removal. Thanks to the city stepping up on this one. It was a little too big for our great volunteers to tackle. - EMBA

They are still looking for enthusiastic women to volunteer on the build crew for Wednesday to Friday (July 22-24). There’s a lot of digging to be done! We've had a busy past few weeks! We got cozy (but not too cozy) on Lovers Lane last night and we bring you not one, but TWO, trail days tomorrow - Thursday, July 16! EMBA will be working in Terwillegar at the top of the hill near Secret Trail and @crankysbikeshop will be just across the footbridge helping out in the Oleskiw meadow.
