Now that spring is here and the snow is clearing, have you noticed areas in your neighbourhood that could use a little tidying up? If you plan to help out, you can request a free litter kit through the City of Edmonton using their online form at http://bit.ly/YegCleanUpKit. Each kit includes a safety guide, litter grabber, a pair of gloves, and a small and large garbage bag. Please follow all public health measures and outdoor gathering restrictions (there must be NO indoor component), practicing safe distancing at all times.

Did you know we spend up to one-third of our lives sleeping? Sleep is a basic human need, much like eating and drinking, and is critical to our overall health and wellbeing. According to World Sleep Day, 45% of the world’s population is affected by sleep problems. If you struggle with falling or staying sleep, follow these #sleephygeine guidelines: Establish a routine bedtime and an awakening time.... Your bedroom should be sleep-friendly cool, dark, and quiet. Block out all distracting noise and eliminate as much light as possible. Avoid heavy meals and vigorous exercise close to bedtime. Avoid caffeine six hours before bedtime. Talk to your family doctor if you have a sleep disorder. If you're suffering from insomnia, watch our free Insomnia Workshop video at: https://buff.ly/3ecWbVT #WorldSleepDay
