#StPatricksDay2021 has been an exciting adventure for Princeton School Kindergarten students. Here’s the whole story! Yesterday, the Kinders arrived at school to find a letter from Leprechaun Patty MacGregor. He told them he had been secretly watching them laugh and learn for the past week. He also mentioned he likes to play jokes and an interesting ‘surprise’ awaits them as long as they follow his instructions. The Kinders were so curious they decided to play along. They cr...eated crafts of his face as he asked, and they quietly built traps to catch him. The Kinders waited all day for their ‘surprise’ and were very surprised when they returned to their classroom after recess! The room was a huge mess - desks, chairs and everything in the room had been relocated, and their traps were destroyed! They spent the rest of the day tidying up and laughing. That’s not the end of the story as they are working on a plan to help next year’s Kinders catch that silly little Leprechaun!

Happy Valentine’s Day! In spite of the cold weather, our schools were full of warmth and love last week. From sending messages of love to seniors and healthcare workers, to writing about what love means to them, staff and students found lots of ways to celebrate!
