Greetings, friends. Here at the ERS, we are truly missing presenting live concerts and making connections with you all. Today would have been the day of our annual In Remembrance concert, a much beloved event in our organization. As with all of our fall and winter concerts, cancelling this event was difficult for us, but necessary. Our desire to share wonderful music with you remains, and so today we are sharing a virtual performance of Khatchaturian’s Trio for Clarinet..., Violin, and Piano. Prochazka Tribute Recital of Kathleen de Caen and Janet Scott Hoyt has been postponed Due to ongoing concerns around the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), and in response to the guidance issued today by Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer of Health advising postponement or cancellation of gatherings with more than 250 persons, the concert by Kathleen de Caen and Janet Scott Hoyt on Sunday, March 15, 2020, at Muttart Hall has been postponed. The Edmonton Recital Society greatly regret...s the necessity of postponing this concert; we do so in recognition of the need to preserve the health and well-being of our patrons.
