Additional 2 week Lockdown Hello Taegeuk families, this is Master Kim & Master Youn. We are very sad to make another announcement. ... We have received an announcement from the government of Alberta regarding an additional lockdown. They have announced that the lockdown will take place for the next 2 weeks until January 21st. Unfortunately, this means our in person classes will have to remain closed until then. We still strongly encourage our students to attend our online classes and training maintain the taekwondo spirit, so everyone can continually learn and keep training in Taekwondo. As soon as we receive the next announcement from the Government of Alberta we will let you know any new information right away. The online class schedule will remain same as before and now. However, online classes have been running very well! All Taegeuk students are doing a great job working hard! Please keep encouraging your kids to training for their goals as we know they can achieve them! We can not express how much we appreciate all of your support and understanding & care in this troubling time. We hope all of our Taegeuk families are safe, healthy, and well. We are making this announcement regarding the new extension of restriction period announced by Alberta Government few days ago.... Alberta Government gave announcement about the indoor activities restriction including dancing, yoga, and martial arts to shut down all in-person classes for 3 more weeks after November 27th. Due to this announcement, we will not have in-person classes for extra 3 more weeks. This is very disappointing news for us that we won't be able to see our families for 3 more weeks. However, we will still provide online classes for our Taegeuk families through zoom meeting to continue your journey as Taekwondo students. Online classes will be held the same as how we are holding currently. There will be online classes everyday except weekends, and following class schedules will be posted down below. Since Upon our return We have been offering makeup classes to all students bewween Monday to Friday. In the earlier months of our reopening we were able to accommodate students in makeup classes as our class sizes were quite small. Now that we have transitioned into the winter and more students are returning, we must have makeup classes on Saturday for regular students. All students who misses class you must let us know before attend Saturday makeup classes if not you may not be able to do makeup class. Hello Taegeuk Families (Students and Parents) On June 12, 2020 Alberta announced the Stage 2 relaunch giving permission for Gyms and Recreation Facilities (including Martial Arts Studios) to re-open. We are pleased to say that our both our Taekwondo Studios (South and West) will be re-opening on July 2, 2020. ... As always, our first priority will be to ensure the health and safety of our students while they are training. We will continue to follow the recommended safety guidelines as implemented by Alberta Health as well as OH&S. We want to thank all of the parents and students who joined us during our virtual classes are proud to say it was a huge success. Your dedication and loyalty was very much appreciated and we look forward to re-opening on July 2, 2020. We hope that many of our students will continue training with us and re-join the in-class sessions. Please stay tuned for more information and guidelines. Class schedule has been changed for the new season. Please check out your class availability and if you have questions or concerns about scheduling contact Master Kim or Master Youn. Unfortunately, this means that our last virtual online class session will be June 30th. We are beyond excited to see you all very soon!
