It's raffle time! We are bringing back our Canadian Single Malt Whisky Basket raffle in time for Christmas! We have selected some of the finest offerings of single malt from Canadian distillers, representing both the West and East coasts. Tickets are $10.00 each. Contact someone affiliated with the band (parents, instructors, board members) to buy yours! The draw date is Tuesday, December 15, 2020. Please note the raffle is available to residents of Alberta only.... The Prize includes: From Macaloney’s Caledonian Distillery on Vancouver Island, a bottle of Invermallie Island Single Cask, Single Malt just being released on November 25! Matured in a premium ex-Bourbon cask. Limited release, bottle number 143 of 166 signed by the Whiskymaker. Also from Macaloney’s Caledonian, a bottle of Glenloy Island Single Malt. This is the Whiskymakers Signature expression. Limited release bottle number 256 of 1276, also signed by the Whiskymaker. Macaloney’s Caledonian is a category winner in both 2019 and 2020 World Whisky Awards. From the East Coast Glenora Distillers in Cape Breton (Canada’s oldest single malt distillery) a bottle of Ghlehan Dubh (The Dark Glen). This 13-year-old peated single malt was created by Glenora after winning a battle with the Scotch Whisky Association over the use of the word Glen. The fourth offering is from Shelter Point Distillery on Vancouver Island, a limited release single malt finished in French Oak. Bottle Number 228 of 294. To round out the prize basket there are two #EYPB branded whisky glasses and an EYPB branded pocketknife. AGLC License # 569254 (retail value of the prize package is over $575 - only 285 tickets printed).
