Hi! I’m going to be playing a 90 minute set of tunes (12:30 to 2 pm) at Ed’s Books and More on Sydney’s Charlotte Street this Saturday, August 29. I’ll be perfo...rming a mix of my originals along with some Cape Breton favs and some older cover tunes. Masks and social distancing protocols are in place. beinn bhrèagha soap is back! It will be at Ed's Store late tomorrow. There are a few bars that I made in a lighthouse mold. Ingredients include -- apricot ke...rnel oil, almond oil, cocoa butter, coconut oil, sunflower oil, olive and responsibly harvested palm oil scented with lavender essential oil. The liquid in this soap is Aloe Vera juice and the color is from alfalfa, spirulina and charcoal making this a skin loving, earth loving soap. See more

Exciting news - Ed's Bookstore is opening this Friday, June 5th. There will be social distancing rules and the like in place so please respect the guidelines t...o help keep all of us safe. I will have some products in my section at the store. I won't be putting in a lot right off until we know how it's going to go but there will be lovely artisan soaps and some shave soap, some with brushes. If things go well and my little business can survive I will be adding sydnet bars to shampoo hair, conditioner bars as well. Bath bombs - bath salts and maybe a few gift baskets. I hope all our small businesses can survive and go on to thrive as it wasn't just Sodan Soaps that was affected. But most importantly, keep safe. See more

I dont know about you but the sinus cold from Hades visited our house and its no fun. Ed from Eds Book Store on Charlotte St. in Sydney has graciously agreed to provide me with extra space so I can display more products. Here is a quick shot of ...the stand and as you can see, new products I had no room to put in his shop before. You will have to click on it to see it completely as its quite tall. The even...t is scheduled for Thursday, June 7, 7pm, at the store at 446 Charlotte Street, Sydney, NS. Admission is with a $10 donation and that includes treats, beverages, musical guests, trivia games, and ticket draws. Even for non-pet lovers, this will be sure to be a fun evening. See more
