Vancouver, BC: September 14-15, 2019 YOGAPL3Y Kids The YOGAPL3Y Kids Instructor Training Course is designed for anyone with a passion for working with children, who wants to learn how to lead playful kids yoga classes at their local community centre, yoga studio or after-school program. Training Includes: -2 day in-person training -Program Manual -Online pre-course materials -Online Notes and Tutorial Videos for Yoga poses, games & activities During your training, you will learn how to create a motivating and safe space where kids ages 6-12 can get playful and have fun as they develop physical literacy and positive mental health through yoga. You will develop instructing skills and learn effective strategies on how to teach kids yoga in a simple and playful way, using a combination of traditional yoga and our PLAYful & interACTIVE teaching approach. You'll also learn how to follow our pre-made YOGAPL3Y Class Plans and deliver an effective yoga class that includes a balance between active movement and mindfulness activities. A class that develops physical literacy and fundamental movement skills, while fostering a playful and positive class environment.
