This is addressed to the people of Brebeuf. Last winter I started a petition to have the village of Brebeuf start a program with the SPCA Labelle Laurentide to sterilize the homeless cats in Brebeuf. The cost of the program is $3000.00 a year which would mean the cost per home owner would be $5.00 a year. This would be added to your yearly tax bill.... We would then be able to get 30 homeless cats sterilized at the SPCA and prevent more and more kittens from being born outside. Three of us went door to door for several months until I had an accident which prevented us from continuing for a couple of months. Now with the Covid 19, going door to door is not a good idea. That being said, I am asking the people of Brebeuf who want to support our using of the SPCA Labelle Laurentide to neuter the homeless cats, to contact me and I will come to your home to get your signature. I will respect all the the Covid guidelines. I would just like to complete the petition and try to prevent more homeless cats from being born. Please message me privately and it would be my pleasure to come to your house and get your signature. Thank you for your kind attention.

Cat houses are available right now. The Rubbermaid ones are $35.00 and the Styrofoam ones are $10.00. We would like to move them out as we are short on space. Please shelter a cat this winter. If you would like one or more, please message me and I will give you the address. They will be available Saturday September 12th in Cote St. Luc. Thank you.

We have come across a 10 year old cat, Gaya, whose guardian has a heart condition and been in and out of the hospital. As you can see, the cat has a badly injured eye and needs to have it removed. We are looking at an estimate of between $600.00-$800.00 for the surgery. We would like to do the surgery but the cost is very high for Educhat to absorb totally. If anyone can help this cat with her surgery, please send an etransfer to: [email protected]. Any donation over $30.00 will receive a Federal tax receipt. Thank you so much. Shelley

Shelley Schecter November 5 at 5:28 PM This is Phantom. He was roaming around up north near my home. He is obviously from a home, as he is very friendly and affectionate. He is about 3 years old and looking for someone who will be his guardians for life. He is dewormed, vaccinated and sterilized. He is really nice boy. He weighs about 15 pounds of solid muscle. If you are interested in having a good buddy who loves to have human company, please respond on this post. Thank you.

Dear All, I am desperately looking for barn space for feral homeless cats. I will provide food and litter for two months. The cats need to be kept confined for ...about 3 weeks and then, when given their liberty, the cats would keep the farms mouse and rat free. Although the cats are great mousers, they must be fed regularly. Anyone who knows of anyone who would be willing to help out some homeless felines, please let me know. The cats would be sterilized, vaccinated and dewormed. Any help would be so appreciated. See more
