I would like to take a moment to thank our outgoing Mayor and Council. While I may not see eye to eye on many decisions that have been made over the past 4 years, there are many decisions and initiatives that have made Squamish a better place. I look forward to embracing our incoming Mayor and Council (if you can make it, they are taking the oath tonight at 6pm at the Squamish Valley Golf Course) and working along side them in a variety of capacities to make Squamish a better place to Live, Work, and Play.

As we pass the 48 Hr Mark of the closing of the polls I felt it the appropriate time to make a post and thank a few people and let you all know where to find me and what I'll be looking to do now that #decision2018 is behind us. Firstly I have to thank Robyn Nadine, without her support, logistics, sign graphics, social media, moral support, sounding board my campaign would not have been possible. I owe an undying level of gratitude for her belief, trust, and support through t...Continue reading

While I sent our new Mayor Karen Elliott for Mayor, District of Squamish, BC a text of congratulations last night, I'd like to make that congratulations public. She fought several tough candidates and Squamish spoke. I'd like to thank Jeff Cooke, Paul Lalli, and Susan Chappelle for the strong and Impressive effort they each made. The campaign was a tremendous learning experience, full of ups and downs, learning, and self reflection. I've gained many new friends along the way... that I hope to strengthen and maintain in the years to come. Squamish spoke, and as disappointed as I am, they made their decision clear. I'd like to congratulate each and every canidate who put their name forward and ran for a seat, it truly was a run, a sprint really. More importantly I'd like to congratulate those that were elected, you have a momentous task of leading this town forward, with a lot of priorities and shortfalls to fix. If I can help in anyway with my experience, I am but a short email, text, or phone call away. To my supporters, Thank You, I couldnt have run the race without you. I'll be giving a few more specific shoutouts in the days to come. To my wife and son, for handling my late nights and absence like pros, I couldnt have put myself out there without your love and support. To all my other supporters across so many different walks of life I won't fade away, I'll still be there, watching, commenting, and being a strong voice to advocate for our town. Best of luck to the New Mayor and Council.

We are in the countdown! T Minus 2 Hours until the polls close! That means you have a little less than 2 Hours to get out and vote if you haven't already. Whether you are voting in Squamish? Victoria, 100 Mile House, Vancouver, Surrey OR ANYWHERE else in our amazing Province. Get out and VOTE. If you are in Squamish, your vote for me, will be a positive step forward. If you want to join ME to celebrate democracy in action, I'll be at The Salted Vine Kitchen + Bar from around 7 onwards. If I'm honored with a seat or honored with a runner up. I look forward to the next 4 years of Creating Squamish' Future Together.
