Morgan Kalk is a proud member of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band located on Treaty 6 Territory and the traditional homelands of the Metis. She completed her B.Comm in Management with Honours and Distinction from the Edwards School of Business in Fall 2019. Immediately after obtaining her degree, Morgan eagerly entered the field of fundraising as an Associate with DCG Philanthropic Service...s, where she remains today. Her focus is on leading and guiding organizations through their fund development priorities ultimately working to strengthen Saskatoon one non-profit at a time. She currently sits on the board of The Princess Shop, Saskatoon Society of Fund Raising Executives and as of April 2021, Dress for Success Saskatoon. One of her greatest connections in Edwards was with the Indigenous Business Students’ Society (IBSS), where she continues to serve as an Alumni Advisor. Ryssa Alarcon: Ryssa Mae Alarcon earned her Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Marketing with High Honours & Great Distinction from the Edwards School of Business. She held leadership roles for student societies, served as a Liaison for the Edwards Experiential Learning Initiative, competed in case competitions, and participated in a study abroad program, earning her the Edwards ...Student Ambassador "Maher" award upon graduating in 2020. She was also involved with the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), Dress for Success, and Make A Wish in communications and representative roles. Ryssa is now on track to doing her Master of Business Administration (MBA) through GSW State University. With marketing experience in the educational, government, construction, and automotive industry, Ryssa works for DSG Power Systems as a Marketing Specialist while serving as a Consultant for local businesses and non-profits. Ryssa is also pursuing her passion for the cause of Women Empowerment by starting a Beauty & Wellness brand called the R lifestyle co. The Graduation Awards are a way to acknowledge the achievements and excellence demonstrated by students who are graduating in 2021. The various awards recognize leadership, sportsmanship, volunteerism, entrepreneurship, and much more! 2021 EBSS Scholarship Program. To register, just fill out the Google Form (link below) and you will receive an email with a list of scholarship recommendations based on your survey results within 24 hours. This program is targeting all Edwards students (both undergrad and graduates) who are looking for scholarships/bursaries to help fund their uni studies.
