Fall Clean Up for Annapolis County starts Tuesday, September 15th running until September 25th. If you live in Annapolis Country here’s some need to know info on what to expect, the limits and what is and is not accepted. Please remember to be respectful of our drives and consider Covid-19 safety as they collect your bulk waste items roadside.... There’s some pretty important wheels hitting the roads in our communities tomorrow. Those bright yellow school buses, with their flashing lights and fancy stops signs. Filled with some of our communities most precious cargo. It also means that cargo, the kids that live in our communities, will be out waiting for those buses to pick them up and it’s been a little longer than normal since we’ve all seen that around here. When we head out tomorrow, we will be on the look out an...d we wanted to help remind everyone to do the same. Give yourself a little extra time to get to where you’re going. Drive attentively. Slow down. Stop when the buses lights are RED, when driving in BOTH directions. Most importantly, watch for the kids! They’re excited, they’re nervous, they’re learning and it’s on all of us to help keep them safe!

Nothing brightens our day more than having a safe audience of smiling kids while out in the communities we love.

Kindness isn’t just a nice-to-have science shows being kind has a positive impact on our well-being. Being kind to others has an equally positive effect on our happiness, can strengthen our immune system and decrease our stress, which can be so important right now! Our thoughts and prayers are with the RCMP, First Responders, families and loved ones that were affected by today’s senseless acts.
