14 years ago this week I arrived in Canada and started to call it home. And yes it’s all that and a bag of chips! England (born and raised) and Florida will ALWAYS have a warm special place in my heart, but Canada is home! ... Wasn’t easy packing up and driving from Florida to milton. My head was full with what if, what if, what if. What am I doing ? What if I don’t like it ? I wonder if it’s really that cold? .... ummm yeah it is. I moved before from England to Florida when I new nothing. 19 years old and didn’t have shit figured out yet. Moving to Canada at 34, telling myself I should be able to do this !! But secretly crapping my pants at the same time. Well I did do it and I done it well. Canada has been very good to me (and me to it ). Married to a wonderful husband, in a career and industry I love, Healthy and strong, and have wonderful friends around me that would give me the shirts off their backs. I couldn’t ask for nothing more. Canada I’m glad to call you home and im sure your happy to have me too!...maybe

My daily clock revolves around the Boo Since I was knee-high to a grasshopper, we've always had a four-legged friend. This has remained the same to this day. I’ve never been without a fur buddy.... The impact they have on you is unbelievable. All our pets through the years have always been family members, never just a pet. We don’t have kids, so yes we are those crazy people where the boo is our baby! I've always been a huge animal lover, I even married a veterinarian for pete's sake! The Boo is my best friend. The bugger is almost human! His eyes talk to me, his cuddles take the chill away and his kisses are always full of love. My hubby is an avid golfer. So I'm a golf widow during the spring and summer months. No biggie Cause the Boo and I have a ton of things to do. We love our summer hikes together. We just go... 3-4 hours we’re on a trail, spending time together. My knapsack is full of treats and water just for him. If I'm working from home...He’s never more than 3 feet away. Never takes his eyes off me and he's always looking for my attention. No matter what time I get home, no matter the weather, no matter how tired I am. The first thing I do is walk my Boo. We walk and have our reconnection time every night... He’s been waiting for me and gives me those eyes. He knows this is our zen time. He depends on me and I owe him for all he gives us. I have never had such a strong connection like I have with the Boo. This may sound a bit crazy to some and I get it. But you may have that connection with other things in your life, but other animal lovers will get it. The daily bouts of Boo love keeps my days ticking Let me see your fur baby...post a pic!
