Hello friends! Did you know that, as Canadians, we throw out approximately 1,000 kg of solid waste per person? And about 65% of that is plastic? Unfortunately, the markets for most recycled plastic are in the crapper and recyling programs have been shut down in the rural areas, giving us no choice but to throw it in the trash. I decided to do something about our plastic waste and started creating art pieces. All rendered and molded by hand with simple tools, I create one of a... kind, completely recyclable works of art. I collect donations from others who feel the same as I do...just by eliminating plastic from our waste stream we've cut down our trash by at least 60%! I am offering my works for sale to offset my costs and to not only keep creating art but to keep plastic out of the landfill.
