This is Sam. Sam had suffered a traumatic encounter involving a toddler and his disc tray was fully extracted and could not return to normal playing position and was about to take the last ride to the dump . (He was traumatized and wouldn't let me take a before picture, poor fella ). After removing the disc tray and resetting the mechanism inside, Sam is ready to play for his owner again and stayed out of the waste bin! Win win! #repair #electronics #fixstuff #zerowaste

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving weekend! I spent a hour or so before the festivities commenced bringing some life back into our old steam cleaner. After spending some time in the basement purgatory, I decided it was either fix it or nix it . A music store owner I used to deal with always used to say "God bless those cats". I don't think it was because they're cute and cuddly.
