10 years ago TODAY, a group of local business people took a leap of faith. They leveraged most of what they had to buy a million square foot, 55-acre property in the middle of Aylmer, Ontario. They had a vision to attract & support growing companies to ultimately create an industrial centre full of diverse, innovative businesses to permanently replace the economic and employment loss felt by the community when the Imperial Tobacco Plant closed in 2007. Today we are thanking the founders, the community and the incredible 30+ businesses operating at the facility, employing nearly 400 people and making this historic property an important part of the thriving Aylmer business community once again! *We are planning a community barbecue and open house on June 19th to officially celebrate, more details to come!*
