Last call for this limited run of cedar lidded cannisters. The next batch will be beautiful barn board from a friend's ranch in Williams Lake. We are filling our last remaining orders for these this month -- we have just few sets available and some all small or all medium. Shoot me a DM if you'd like to reserve a piece/set. #bespokedesign #ceramicjar #cedar #wood #ceramicjarswithlids #eikcamceramics #canadianmade

Celebrating in the first day of fall by hunkering down by the last bit of light. We are embracing the darker days and west coast rain to come. Time to put on a pot of rooibos and work away in the studio.... #autumnequinox #firstdayoffall #pnw #ceramicartist #eikcamceramics #yvr

My best tool captured by Brooke of @foundmythrill in studio last week. We've been following each other's creative journeys for 10 years and finally, during a pandemic we had a short window to capture a few moments of calm. Much gratitude to Brooke for making time to connect and sending through this series today. More to come...... #artistlife #studio #eikcamceramics #stilllife #handmadetableware #myhands

Shop update going live shortly at 10am PST this morning / 1pm EST !! And this is my favorite Daruma to date! Obviously influenced by my daughter's books -- it's a narwhal and no, it's not a horn -- it's an elongated tooth :) This one is spoken for but there is lots to choose from this batch!!... Happy Sunday!!

A special batch of these dark red clay Darumas new to the shop this Sunday -- and the biggest selection of larger 4" Daruma dolls. Each doll is formed and carved uniquely and one-of-a-kind. Don't forget to turn it around to reveal the signature feature Hope you find something that speaks to you. Thanks so much for your pre-orders and kind messages. See you this Sunday!... #shopupdate #supportsmallbusiness #yvr #shoplocal #daruma #Vancouver #eikcamceramics #OHstudio #handmade

Taking a moment to revel in this behind-the-scenes vignette. Every element was foraged from the garden, beach combed on travels or sieved from the earth including the minerals in the glaze. The medium of clay brings all of the elements together and it's becoming more and more clear that it chose me -- not the other way around.... #bts #visualsofearth #photostyling #artdirection #eikcamceramics #clay #viawesome #vancouver #artist #ceramics #foraging #photooftheday

The fine lines of carbon. A favorite raku fired vase captured by @grey_belle in studio. Many thanks for the lovely comments on my last post of the crackle platter. It's always a heart warming feeling when I share a piece I love and the reaction is equally positive. Keep safe everyone and enjoy these remaining days of summer.... #raku #rakupottery #wabisabi #eastvan #homewares #Vancouverart #yvr #eikcamceramics #handbuiltceramics

My daughter, Olive inspires the much of the motivation behind my work especially through difficult times. Making these Daruma dolls with Olive brought much solace and peace when anxiety levels were running high. We wished we could share all of our clay projects with classmates and friends. We are looking forward to connecting safely again with friends at school and creating with clay too. #InOurHearts #TheEastsideCultureCrawl
