It’s that time of year again... COVID-19 didn’t keep Wes home from Uni, he is off moving in with buddies for the first time and getting ready for his second year at Queen’s. Shona starts Wednesday in Grade 9. Lots of great family time this summer, with plenty of brother-sister time, too. We will miss Wes, but wish him another great year at Uni. Fingers crossed for a smooth start to the school year for all!

Doing favourite things with favourite people in favourite places - this past ‘weekend’ checked all the boxes at the cottage. Some work and some play made for busy, happy days. Wishing colleagues, clients, neighbours and friends a happy end-of-summer!

Weekly Market Update: Business activity for the manufacturing sector expanded in Canada, and the domestic economy added 418,500 jobs in July, beating estimates. Following the three-month rebound, Canada has now recouped 55% of jobs lost due to the pandemic. Read the rest here.
