Feeling pretty proud of my hustle during my first fully solo harvest (@kirky_dee helped out last time) ALSO I'm in better shape than ever before in my life, even more than when I played rugby for a season it's a GREAT feeling and it's only gonna get better

Jeremy is out of town and it's my very first day alone since shutting down my business so I got back in the kitchen... for myself! The sad truth is professional cooks sometimes eat the worst because we're too worn out from cooking all day to cook for ourselves. The same is true with so many humans who are overworked. It's so nice to find the time to cook for ME, just little old me. What an entrance back into my own kitchen:... Beef Thai curry Pickled purple radish and carrot salad Jasmine rice with lime, chili oil and fish sauce So much better than take out! . Also, the ingredients... Knowing where your food comes from, being reminded of the faces of the humans who put food on your plate Carrots from @forstbauerfarm Purple radishes I harvested in October and picked from @aslanorganics as well as garlic and onions **It's a lil ridiculous just how much I miss you guys though I'm so damn excited for our seperate futures at the same time Tomatillos I harvesting from my plot and froze in August Beef from Redl's Half a pouch of tomato soup from my former soup biz Chili oil I made as wedding favors this summer . . . To summarize, I love my life. I feel so honored to have built relationships with farmers who've shaped my life in the past few years in unimaginable ways! & I'm so happy to be momentarily unemployed, childless and free to binge Netflix
