During this tough time for many people and businesses, charities and non-profits are facing the same challenges as one of the quickest cuts in spending is often charitable donations . There are many tough decisions that we are facing right now as we try to make the right decisions for our futures in this turbulent time . ... On this first Earth Day of the decade, we encourage you to do what is reasonable within your means and situation to support charities that are close to your heart . We at elamy Design, as coffee lovers and supporters of natural habitats for wildlife, are passionate about the reforestation efforts of One Tree Planted . @onetreeplanted is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to global reforestation. Their mission is simple, reforest the planet, one tree at a time . One Tree Planted also raise awareness about the importance of trees, offer businesses like ours a simple solution to support the cause to do something positive for the environment . With each product we sell at elamy Design, we will make sure at least 1 tree will be planted through this effort . Also, we will dedicate 100 trees to be planted to support the reforestation efforts with the #OrcaProject to revive a sustainable habitat for the wildlife along the Westcoast including the salmon and whale population.
