Elect Andrew Keyes for Markham Ward 5

Hey Cornell, I just wanted to give a little head up with the election looming. Please make sure what ever candidate you choose they have solid knowledge of our ...community. Having been involved as CRA president in the very beginning I quickly learnt we are unlike any other neighbourhood in Markham. We have lanes that pose issues. We learnt they needed to be widened for fire trucks to get down them properly, we learnt we had snow removal issues unlike any other community. We fought to stop the town from sneaking a bus loop in front of existing houses on Riverlands. The list goes on. My point is check that the candidates understand our unique design in Cornell and make sure they will understand how to be our active voice in the town. There are solid candidates that do understand us. Just ask the questions. In saying that I do want to suggest you are open to speaking with a candidate who sat in our CRA board for years as a volunteer. He fought for many Cornell issues and helped start many of our fun events we continue to enjoy thanks to new volunteers. His name is Andrew Keyes . Good luck to all. See more
