30 March 2021 River Watch Update! Renforth Wharf (elevation 3.0m) is almost underwater. Water levels are expected to continue rising and could reach the ordinary high water mark (elevation 3.69m) by the weekend. Be careful around shorelines because the soils are saturated and can easily collapse into the water taking you with them!
8 April 2021 River Watch Update. Water levels this morning were at 3.05m. They will fall again tomorrow and then slightly increase over the next few days. Did you know that water levels this year have already exceeded those we experienced in 2020? It's true, levels in 2020 didn't exceed the Ordinary High Water Mark.
7 April 2021 River Watch Update. The Renforth Wharf has re-appeared! Water levels this morning were at 3.18m. Predictions are for the River to fall to 3.0m and remain at that level for the next several days.
6 April 2021 Flood Watch Update. Water levels are on a downward trend and are now below the Ordinary High Water Mark! Predictions are for levels to continue falling; however, it's still important to keep an eye on the River because there are ice jams and a partial snowpack up north.
29 March 2021 River Watch Update! Water levels rose in response to the heavy rain on Friday and last night. Water levels are expected to continue rising over the next few days, but still be below flood stage. There is heavy rain predicted for Thursday.

27 March 2021 River Watch Update! As predicted, water levels rose last night in response to the heavy rain we had yesterday.
***TRAFFIC ADVISORY*** Rothesay Road at College Hill Road will be reduced to one lane starting today (Monday 16 November 2020) for about one week. Traffic signals will be in place.
Did you know that the Hillside Trail follows a Town waterline? A connection from that waterline is being made to the Rothesay Netherwood School, which is why you may see heavy equipment on the trail. Please use caution while using the trail over the next few weeks as this work occurs.
Although it was a very different Remembrance Day without a service on the Rothesay Common, it was heartening to see individuals throughout the day going to the cenotaph to place their poppy and stand for a moment of silence. Lest We Forget.
