Today is Inauguration Day in the United States of America. The world will be watching as democracy is restored in a nation that is regarded as close friends to Canada and many nations in the World. I pray that President Biden and Vice President Harris can restore dignity, respect and honour to the Presidency. That's as political a statement as I wish to make. Tonight was the year-end contribution of 2 more Chromebook laptops as part of our Kiwanis Computers for Kids Project with a handover to Superintendent Geoff Edwards of OCDSB. This makes more than 135+ computers that Kiwanis Clubs in Eastern Ontario have provided to children and families in need in our communities. The 15 clubs in Divisions 12 and 13 have raised more than $40,000 to help children access their school classrooms through online delivery of teaching and assignments.
