It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Dr. Lou Siminovitch, who together with his wife Elinore, founded (and fundraised) Canada's largest theatre prize, the Siminovitch Prize. Many of our staff and artists had the pleasure of knowing Lou, including our very own Siminovitch Laureate, Kim Collier - who won the prize as a Director. The national Transformations project is being hosted by the National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts, and is featuring work from some of Canada’s most innovative artists in video, audio and text.
