From July 16-23, Vector Festival 2020: Online Edition, curated by Katie Micak and Martin Zeilinger, will present the work of more than 60 artists in a dynamic range of virtual exhibitions, performances, panels, and workshops.... Electric Perfume officially announces the closure of its Toronto-based venue space. We are grateful for the amazing artists, designers, musicians, makers, gamers, hackers, nerds, weirdos, and misfits who formed our community through the past five years of operation in our Danforth home. Functioning as a community-oriented gallery and market-conscious creative studio, the philosophy of Electric Perfume has been to create and support multisensory interactive social experiences.... We will continue our fun-centric programming and initiatives without the storefront as we adapt to the changing experiential events market ahead. In the meantime, please feel free to share EP memories in the comments below or through any of our channels! With over 150 public events consisting of exhibitions, festivals, performances, screenings, workshops, socials, clubs and meetups -- We are honoured to have sought and supported experimentation alongside our community, and thankful for the organizations and allies we've collaborated with along the way. We will be posting a three part retrospective in the near future celebrating and documenting the Electric Perfume venue, collaborators, and studio projects that contributed to the unique and indescribable special vibe felt within its walls.
