Introducing... SHERWOOD !! SFT's 'Theatre Cat' and newest volunteer. :) As backgrounder... from what we know: He was abandoned during the summer, given the numb...er of people who said they saw him foraging for food, including eating Jimmy's pizza out of a garbage can at the Esso station, :( and hanging around in the downtown core. We saw him numerous times and he seemed to like being at the Stirling Theatre. In fact, he had to be carried out of the lobby when he was bound on strolling into the auditorium when the doors were open for a performance of our Young Company's 'Robin Hood'. We then knew we had to make a decision, given the cold weather coming... So... the SFT has adopted a 'Theatre Cat'! We went back and forth on the name, but settled on 'Sherwood', given that he came to us during 'Robin Hood'. We all thought that it just seemed so fitting. He was previously neutered, confirmed by his first visit to the vet. Sherwood did not like that much, so we are keeping his second visit a secret (!) He was not feral, given his affectionate nature and 'chill' around the office. He was quite underweight, but has bulked up somewhat since his adoption by the SFT three weeks ago. He's a real lovey-dovey sort of guy, as you will see in the images below. We keep him safely contained in his 'admin office apartment' so that he does not have the run of the building. He now has everything a pampered feline could want - food, treats, companionship, toys, catnip and love from us all. Welcome Sherwood, to our SFT Family!!
