It is with a heavy heart that I must share the news of a great loss to our team and to our greater Toronto community. Last week, our beloved Jay Tripper (Jeff Parker) was tragically taken from us. Jay was one of the most devout supporters of the electro swing movement and through his Fieldtrip Designs, was the driving force behind our brand and marketing graphics from the very beginning, creating some of the finest event artwork in the entire global vintage scene. His infect...ious smile, brilliant talent and caring soul lit up the dancefloor and our hearts. His contribution as a humble visionary will remain with us always, not only through the breadth of his work, but in remembering the integrity and generosity of his character. Hard to believe it's already a year ago that Caravan Palace blew the roof at the Phoenix... the scene shifts to the ROM this season and DJ medicineman is back at it with the Toronto Jazz Festival and a Nu Jazz + Electro Swing set @ Friday Night Live: Jazz Club in the crystal six ;)
