Happy New Year everyone! 2020 was a year that will sure be never forgotten. This year was a year of loss and self growth. 2020 forced me to truly embrace the unknown like the rest of us. In march I had heartbreaking news of the unexpected loss of my cousin. Shortly after the lock downs started and I went from serving 3 jobs to none. In the first month of being laid off I felt a bunch of emotions, it gave me time to reflect on the future I am wanting to create and the thi...ngs that hold real importance to me. It made me really see that where I was heading wasn't even close to where I wanted to be and opened my eyes to the importance of living a life full of passion and trusting my intuition. I made two major promises to myself this last year. 1. To never go back serving 2. To make photography a full time career. This past year I have invested in courses to help expand my photography business. I had always promised myself to never invest in education unless I knew passion followed. With the courses I did I learnt the true importance of investing towards something that felt right and taking that leap of faith in myself and what is to come from it. This year was a reminder of the uncertainty life holds but also a reminder that I am the creator of the life I live. Leaving the certainty of working for someone and starting my business full time in the midst of a pandemic seemed crazy but its what felt right and I am so happy I did as this year has been my most successful yet. Unfortunately due to covid this years police graduates never got an official ceremony. Because of this, this couple decided to celebrate with a photoshoot! I was so excited to help capture his accomplishments! congrats!
