The incorporation of the art aficionado was a brilliant way to add a trendy and shareable t...ouch to further resonate with audiences far and wide. -------- TikTok has taken the world by storm, so much so that Arby's created a limited-edition meal around (viral) banter with TikToker John Casterline that involved returning a missing Arby’s display TV for a mystery Arby’s box. Thus, the $5 Missing Menu Meal was born (and enjoyed by many), exemplifying the power of social media in advertising. -------- La Roche-Posay Skin is More Than Skin Campaign gave a voice to the two billion people in the world struggling from skin conditions by publishing the campaign footage entirely unretouched. Happy International Women's Day to all! Who are some women that inspire Elemental's very own, you ask? -------- Mikki Kendall, a renowned activist and writer, because she provides a critical lens into the intersectional experiences of Black women through one of my favourite books, Hood Feminism. It is a fantastic read. -------- My mom, because of her endless drive to be the best person she can be. She welcomes all things with open arms and makes everyone and everything feel... loved. She is also one of the hardest workers I know - basically a real-life superwoman. -------- Awkwafina, a female Asian-American actress and comedian who raps, because she has created a presence in the mainstream market where she is at a disadvantage. She is relatable, funny, and cool. -------- My grandmother, because of her openness to taking risks and initiating change, her empathetic and kind heart, and finally, her unsurmountable perseverance. At 81 years young, her youthful soul is ready for newness with matching tattoos on her post-pandemic bucket list! -------- Petra Woods, my team captain, and coach for rugby, because she not only works hard to better herself in a positive way, but she uplifts those around her and is always consistent. Being a captain enables her to motivate people, be a mentor and be a voice for women in sport. Meet our two new teammates - Naomi & Ivanka! Naomi Belay is our new Digital Coordinator. She graduated from the University of Windsor, with a bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications and Film/Journalism. After graduation, Naomi worked at a non-profit for juvenile diabetes, where she later pursued a career in digital marketing. She has a passion for anything digital, sports and food.
