Secondary school students have been snowshoeing around the Riverstone eco-retreat to scout, design, and build two orienteering courses. They have also repurposed some broken cedar picnic tables and created a Canada goose nesting platform, built 15 birdhouses, and a barn swallow nesting structure to house 9 swallow families Soon they will spend time tapping maple trees for sap to be boiled into syrup...
