~THANK YOU~ I have achieved my Professional Certified Coach (PCC) designation with the International Coach Federation. I have worked with hundreds of my clients over the past 5 years when you needed to navigate changes in your business, in your career, and in your life. You invited me in to be your sounding board, your thinking partner, and your confidant when there was no one else to talk to about the challenges you were facing. I have the privilege of walking beside you ...as you journeyed through towards your new choices. Your wins are my wins! The path is never straight to your final destination. Thank you to each of you for our time together and allowing me the opportunity to do the work that I am absolutely passionate about .... helping others to learn and grow so that you can live your life with passion and excitement. I look forward to what we can do together in the future.

Creating buy-in for a new idea. I'm working with a few clients who are frustrated with trying to get people on board with a new idea. It take a lot of time for people to transition from the old way to the new way and there can be a lot of complaining. This is a great article on how to get your team's culture focused on positivity but also gives them a focused space to share their concerns or as the author calls it the "Whining List" - where you outline all that is a problem... and get it on the table that eventually leads to self-generating solutions and solving the problems. What is your best way you have dealt with getting people to on board and executing? #change #teambuilding #culture #learning #buy-in http://bit.ly/2sebI2n

What can we learn from tech companies and their creative brainstorming methods? There are novel ways to invigorate your imagination and mindful ways to tackle routine problems. I'm particularly interested in the Hack Week concept. It suggests setting up a creative time to collectively work together on a problem. The goal is to generate new perspectives and ideas and not necessarily getting a perfect outcome. Team learning is worth the time invested when the proper structure ...is in place to support it. Has anyone tried these types of methods before? Did you have success? What would you do differently next time? http://ow.ly/2FkJ50y5TL0 #creativity #hackathon #teamlearning See more
