Malachite is a powerful mineral which has been used by humans dating back to 3000bc in Egypt . It’s name is derived from Latin due to the resemblance to the Mallow plant. A copper carbonate, it is often found associated with other minerals and can be found to pseudomorph . A powerful metaphysical stone of transformation it is believed to have a property of deep healing and the ability to bring negative patterns to the surface. Malachite can help the wearer acknowledge and di...scharge negative patterns of trauma and blocks that may be causing physical disease. Good to note that Malachite absorbs energy easily, possibly due to its elemental composition, but holds it until it is cleared, so it is important to clean your Malachite often. Both of these rings and specimen are for sale, the #botryoidal #specimen is particularly sweet. The rings are size 7 and size 6.5 DM for price! #crystals #love #minerals #geology #egypt #malachite #mineral #copper #carbonate #metaphysical #stone #healing #metaphysics #magic #crystal #crystalhealing #crystaljewelry #crystaladdict #malachitestone #gemstone #minerals #gemstones #gemstonejewelry #elfinstones

Pyrite *Energy*Strength*Vitality*Confidence *Manifestation*Abundance Also known as "Fools Gold" for obvious reasons! ... The meaning of Pyrite dates back a long way in history as it was first reported around 50AD. Its name comes from the Greek word for 'fire', because when you strike it against another rock, it gives off sparks. Some of the best cubic forms of Pyrite come from the Victoria Mine in Spain. The ancient people of the lands would collect and use the pyrite cubes themselves. The inhabitants of what is now Navajún in the time period around 300BC used the pyrite crystals for magic and these local inhabitants were known as the Piritas!! Ariibaa! During the Roman Empire, the crystals were collected and exported back to Rome where they were used as tiles in mosaics. During Medieval times, the pyrites were used locally in medicine small cubes were ingested! Yummay! Come visit the shop and eat some... I mean check out some rare pyrite!

Fluorite (also called fluorspar) is the mineral form of calcium fluoride, CaF2. It crystallizes in octahedral and cubic forms. The word fluorite is derived from the Latin verb fluere, meaning to flow. One of the largest deposits of fluorspar in North America is located in the Burin Peninsula, Newfoundland, Canada which was founded in the 1800's. Fluorite comes in a wide range of colors and has consequently been dubbed "the most colorful mineral in the world". Every color of ...the rainbow in various shades are represented by fluorite samples, along with white, black, and clear crystals. Many samples of fluorite exhibit fluorescence under ultraviolet light, a property that takes its name from fluorite. One of the first people to observe fluorescence in minerals was in 1852. He noted the ability of fluorite to produce a blue glow when illuminated with invisible light "beyond the violet end of the spectrum." He called this phenomenon "fluorescence" after the mineral fluorite. Hold it up to a black light and watch it glow! In telescopes, fluorite elements allow high-resolution images of astronomical objects at high magnifications. Canon Inc. produces synthetic fluorite crystals that are used in their more expensive telephoto lenses. With synthetically grown fluorite crystals, it is used instead of glass in some high-performance telescopes and camera lens elements. We can thank fluorite for inspiring us to view the cosmos with such precision and definition!
