We are excited to announce that Elgin Motor Freight has received the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) Annual Fleet Safety Award. The TCA Annual Fleet Safety Award identifies North American transportation companies that have demonstrated an unparalleled commitment to safety. The companies recognized in each of the six mileage-based divisions had the lowest annual accident frequency ratio per million miles. Elgin Motor Freight, which includes the Challenger Temperature Cont...rolled Division, placed first in the Division III (15-24.99 million miles). We are thrilled to share the news of this award as it represents all of the hard work our professional drivers and support staff do every day to ensure the overall safety of our fleet. Yesterday, the Premier of Ontario extended the current state of emergency for the province, which will see non-essential businesses and child-care centres closed until May 12, 2020. This is similar to what is happening in other jurisdictions and provinces. The important thing to remember is that all levels of government in both Canada and the US have recognized that we are a critical part of the supply chain, and ultimately the economy. As such, we are continuing to operate all areas of our business and we thank each and every one of you for your commitment and for making it happen during this time.
