ELITE ON CAMERA AUDITION WORKSHOP Sunday November 4, 2018 10:00 A.M- 6:00 P.M Location: 505 Place St-Henri, room 9, H4C 2S1... WORKSHOP OUTLINE: MORNING Demystifying the audition process. How to prepare for your audition. Audition etiquette. Discussion on photos and resumes. Short scenes (3-4 lines) cold read on camera. Critique. AFTERNOON Audition on camera, with a reader, using longer scenes provided prior to workshop. Critique Each participant will receive a copy of their scenes from the workshop via e-mail. CASTING CALL: 5'4" male gymnast/Acrobat 12-14 years old Elite Casting is looking for a double with advanced gymnastics and acrobatic abilities. The actor being ...doubled is a 12-14 year old, light skinned African American male, who stands 5'4", and has black curly hair. AVAILABILITY: will be required first week of September and sporadically throughout the series which shoots from September 2017 to September 2018. This is a remunerated union job but we will consider both union and non-union candidates. Since the part is non-speaking, we are open to both English and French speaking candidates. Hello Everybody: We are doing a project called "Circus Kids" It is a pilot for a possible series to shoot in January 2016. We are looking for kids who have WHO HAVE GOOD ACROBATIC AND CIRCUS SKILLS AND ARE GOOD ACTORS.. If there is anyone who qualifies please e-mail me and let me know. Thanks... [email protected] Roles (Lead) Abril Female 8 - 12 Abril wants to be a star-it's all she ever wanted. She shines when she's onstage.But circus school is the first place she's ever been where she wasn't the best performer, and that unnerves her. She is still determined to succeed. It would help if she weren't so gullible. Comically, Abril will believe in almost anything-whether it's a prank, a superstition or the latest fad. Candidates must have at least one strong knowledge of the skills mentioned above. The more the better. Experience in circus art is a plus. (Lead) Sofia Female 8 - 12 Absolutely fearless, eager to do everything at the circus, she doesnt always want to wait for instructions or follow the rules. Shes also competitive and can turn anything into a competition. But despite following her own drummer, she is a loyal friend, especially if being loyal means getting to do something rule-breaking. She has so much confidence and charisma that others follow her. Candidates must have at least one strong knowleDge of the skills mentioned above. The more the better. Experience in circus art is a plus. (Lead) Jojo Male 8 - 12 Born to clown, naturally funny and eager to make people laugh, hes everybodys best friend. He loves the creativity of the circus the costumes, the sets, the artistry. He always has creative ideas for the Big Show. Hes completely in his element at circus school if only he werent afraid of heights! And tumbling! He gets nervous whenever his feet have to leave the ground. The candidates must have at least one strong knowledge of the skills mentioned above. The more the better. Experience in circus art is a plus. (Lead) Nicholas Male 8 - 12 Hes the son of circus performers, so he already has some circus skills. Not that he thinks of himself as skilled. Hes a perfectionist and very hard on himself. He worries a lot about being embarrassed, and about whether hell ever be as good as his parents. We would consider a candidate who has French as a first language but is fluent in English. The candidates must have at least one strong knowledge of the skills mentioned above. The more the better.Experience in circus art is a plus.

We love casting the project "Circus Kids". Very challenging and fun to do.
